Overnight Horse Camps Excursions / Horses Included
Overnight Camps.....2 Night Minimum required for overnight camps.
- $100.00 per day per horse....you supply your own camp gear, pay your own site feeds and trail fees. I bring the horses, tack and feed. I set up my own adjoining camp next to yours. Riders are still encouraged to be responsible for their own horse on and off the trail....

Most camp locations already have camp sites with picnic tables, firewood pit, charcoal grill, high line poles for tying horses, water and electricity on site, public restrooms and showers.....
In addition, some camps may have a small trail fee that riders are required to pay for each day they ride... the fee usually is around
$2 to $2.50 per day per horse. This trail fee is not included in the above price and each rider will be responsible for their own ride fee if a fee is required.
The above price is based on trail heads within 55 miles of Depew OK, and included transportation of horses to the camp. If you wish to ride somewhere which is outside range, an additional mileage fee will apply at the rate of:

Day Rides Only.... No overnight camping
Day rides will usually consist of at least four hours of riding however some trails may take longer than this...Be prepared...bring sack lunch and water. I will supply saddle bags for food and rain slickers in case of inclement weather.
$85.00 per day per horse + transportation. (see below) No day rides will be considered outside of 100 mile radius of Depew Oklahoma.

Mileage to trail head...based on map quest most practival route to starting point....Depew, Ok.
* Rates may vary if fuel rate increases significantly from current prices. All bookings require Advance Reservations and 20% Non-refundable Deposit. If you cancel within 30 days of your booking date.
It is highly recommended that anyone wishing to reserve their ride date do so with at least 60 days prior to the required dates...horses are limited and once your date is booked it is your outing..and those dates will be set aside specifically for you...overnight camps require preparation and scheduling arrangements. Tumbleweed Horses needs time to prepare for each outing.

What riders should bring to Camp
- Personal Items
- Sleeping Bags or Blanket and Pillow
- Camera
- Swim Wear
- Sturdy Boots for Riding with at least a 1 inch heel
- Supply your own food and water/canteen.
- Riders encouraged to arrive at camp prepared to help with camp setup and maintenance.
- This is not 5 star luxury it is however an authentic horse owners trail riding camp.

Rider Guidelines
- You must be 21+ to Reserve
- Ride skill level (good to intermediate or better)
- * And be able to ride in control of your horse at all times.
- Be physically capable of riding several hours a day
- Be willing to sign a Liability Waiver
- and answer a few questions of a simple non-evasive Health Questionnaire. ( No Sign- No Ride)
- Weight restricted to 230 lbs. max per rider
- Warning...not suitable for beginner/novice or nervous riders
- * All outings are Wrangler Accompanied...
Refund Policy- No refunds will be offered if:
- You cancel your booking, your deposit is non-refundable
- Horse was injured because rider was negligent of horses safety or Riders failure to comply or abide by ride rules.
- Abusive or aggressive behavior towards a horse is an issue.
- If alcohol/drugs was involved in anyway.
Partial Refunds (during your outing)
- If horse becomes ill or injured, and it was not caused directly by the rider and a suitable replacement is not available.
- If bad weather is constant threat and riding is impossible. (total rain out, etc)
Full Refund of Deposit
- If Tumbleweed Horses needs to cancel and cannot reach a suitable rain check date.
